Difference between an oncologist and an endocrinologist

In medicine, we are taught that when a patient crashes, don't stand there, do something or anything. 

In oncology, don't do something or anything, just stand there. His cancer will reveal itself. If it's really aggressive, why treat and make him suffer? If his tumor biology is better, there maybe a point in treating at the expense of toxicities. 

In endocrinology, don't do something or anything, just stand there - in fact, why bother standing, take a chair and sit, or maybe even make your bed and lie down. :)
