Lasting reward

A friend recently told me this story. When he was in his fifth year of medical school in rural Africa, he first had access to a computer. He resolved that he would learn "proper typing". The first month was painful. He was slow, late, and inefficient. The lasting reward? He can now type with eyes closed.

There's a golden life lesson in this story - hard work pays!
