Lung cancer has overtaken breast cancer as the leading cause of cancer deaths in women in developed countries. Another testament to years of research effort, funded by the deep coffers of charities such as Susan Komen et al. Just another example of what could be achieved with screening, targeted therapy (tamoxifen) and well funded research.
